We are looking for a Principal Investigator (reporting to the Project Director/Principal Consultant/Partners) with minimum 25 years of work experience in the relevant field.

Base Location – Delhi

Responsibility
● Provide strategic leadership and direction to research initiatives in rail logistics, transport economics, metro projects, and infrastructure policy.
● Collaborate with government agencies, industry stakeholders, and international organizations on policy and project-related matters.
● Guide the development of methodologies, frameworks, and models for transport and infrastructure studies.
● Build, refine, and utilize advanced econometric models, simulations, and forecasting tools to project future economic scenarios.
● Translate complex economic findings into clear, concise, and actionable recommendations for senior leadership, clients, or government stakeholders.
● Support decision-making for infrastructure planning, investment promotion, and policy advocacy.

Desired Candidate Profile
● Master’s or PhD. in Economics, Statistics, Management, Engineering/Technology, Finance, or a related quantitative field from a Government-Recognised institution or equivalent qualification is acceptable.
● 25 years of work experience in economic research, analysis, and rail logistics, transport economics, rail/metro and infrastructure policy is highly preferred.
● Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
● Ability to structure, prioritize, and work through strict timelines.
● Proficiency in MS Office, statistical, and econometric software.
● Proficiency in English (Compulsory).
